Terms and Conditions Policy

The following terms and conditions apply to transactions on our web site and for telephone sales. The placement of your order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Our local installation service has separate terms and conditions which are available upon request.

Buying

Stone and Chrome is dedicated to providing excellent products at competitive prices.

To make a purchase, browse our catalogue and click on any items that you may wish to buy to add it to your shopping cart. When you have selected all the items you wish to buy, click on "checkout" to pay for your goods.

Description of Goods

All information specifications and images published on our website are for the purpose of giving an approximate description of goods. Stone and Chrome will not be held liable for any preparation work undertaken based on such specifications. Where Stone tiles , vanity tops and stone bowls are being purchased it must be accepted by the customer that here is a natural variation in colour and markings on these products The pictures offer a general guide only. For specific technical information we recommend that the manufacturer be contacted.

Credit Card Security

For online orders, your credit card is taken and processed securely. All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed. They are not held in clear text on any website and are not seen by Stone and Chrome.

Where telephone orders are made, Stone and Chrome will process the order and then destroy any secure data that has enabled the payment to be made.

Money Back Guarantee

You may cancel your order at any time between the day of order and the end of the 7th working day following receipt of the goods. Please note that when returning rejected goods, the packaging must be in perfect condition and the product must not have been used , fitted or attempted to have been fitted. You must inform us by e’mail or in writing of your wish to cancel. You must contact us for advise on safely returning the goods. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods safely and in original condition. We will refund your money within 30 days of receipt of the goods less any delivery charge incurred (if any). Returns outside this period will not be accepted. These cancellation terms do not apply to any goods that are classified as special order items, goods that are made to your specification, customised goods or goods purchased in store.

Delivery

We give approximate delivery times when placing an order and shall make every effort to deliver goods within this stated time. Any such date given is for guidance only without assumption of any legal obligation. In no circumstances whatsoever shall Stone and Chrome come under any liability to the customer because of any delay in the delivery or failure to deliver for whatever cause and the customer shall not be entitled to repudiate the contract by reason thereof.

Delivery shall be deemed to occur when the customer takes possession of the goods or (if they are sent by post) when they are posted or (if they are carried) when the carrier takes possession thereof.

Pricing Errors

In the event of a pricing error on the website, Stone and Chrome will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.

Availabilty of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and will refund any money already paid for them. Our liability will not extend beyond the cost of the product.

Product Guarantee

Stone and Chrome offers a 12month guarantee on all products sold. Some Manufacturers offer an extended guarantee on their products beyond this 12 months and should be contacted directly in this instance. We are happy to provide advice where possible in assisting you contacting the relevant Manufacturer should this be necessary.

VAT duty

Our prices are subject to the current rate of vat at point of sale. Unless specified as inclusive of vat all our prices will be plus vat.

Changes To Terms and Conditions

We expect these terms and Conditions to remain unchanged, but reserve the right to alter or remove parts when we feel it is needed. Any changes to this policy will be posted here and will take effect immediately. If we change our policy we will change the date below, to indicate when changes were made.
