Moody Cloakroom with beaded panelling and dark geometric wallpaper
A moody, design-led cloakroom tucked just off the client’s in-house bar, created as a deliberate contrast to the sociable space beyond. The lower walls are wrapped in finely detailed beaded panelling, adding texture and a sense of heritage, while above, a dark geometric wallpaper introduces depth and quiet drama. Subtle wood inlay details bring warmth and craftsmanship into the scheme, tying the finishes together with a refined, tailored feel.
At the centre of the design sits traditional furniture from Burlington, chosen for its classic proportions and timeless detailing. The brushed nickel brassware complements the darker palette with a soft, understated sheen, lifting the space without breaking its moody atmosphere. The result is a compact cloakroom that feels rich, atmospheric, and considered, balancing period-inspired detailing with a confident contemporary edge.
